Six Lady Bulldogs made the trip to Eastern Illinois University yesterday for the IHSA State Track Meet; Norah Taylor, Torrie Rider, Ellie King, Audrey Taylor, Aubrey Kessler, and Callie Winer. Unfortunately, none were able to advance to today’s State Finals. Congratulations to the Lady Bulldogs on a great season.
The Carmi-White County Boys Tennis team traveled to Carbondale yesterday for the IHSA 1A Sectional, and senior Javan Lucas qualified for the State Finals. Lucas went 2-0 on the day, advancing to next weekend’s State Tournament in Chicago.
The Carmi-White County Baseball team will begin postseason play on Monday as they travel to Zeigler-Royalton. If the Bulldogs win on Monday, they will advance to the Mt. Carmel Regional to face Fairfield on Wednesday.
