The Carmi-White County Baseball team fell to Carterville yesterday in their season opener by a final score of 19-0.
Hayden Sauls recorded the lone base hit for the Bulldogs in the loss.
Carmi falls to 0-1 on the season. They will travel to Robinson tomorrow for a doubleheader against Robinson and Westville.
The Carmi-White County Girls Track team traveled to Marion yesterday for their second indoor meet of the season.

Makyla Seibers – 4th in 800 Meter Run
Ellie King, Lyla Wolff, Norah Taylor, Annie Winkleman – 9th in 4×2 Relay
Ellie King, Aubrey Kessler, Audrey Taylor, Callie Winter – 9th in 4×4 Relay
Torrie Rider – 4th in Shot Put
Norah Taylor – 7th in High Jump
The Lady Bulldogs will have the next couple of weeks off. Their next meet isn’t until the CWC Co-Ed on April 9th.
The Carmi-White County Boys Tennis team will travel to Herrin tomorrow for their first match of the season.
