The Carmi-White County Baseball and Softball teams were scheduled to begin their 2026 seasons yesterday, but those games were postponed due to cold temperatures.
Yesterday’s baseball game at West Frankfort will now be played next Monday, March 23rd.
Yesterday’s softball game at home against Grayville will now be played on Friday, April 24th.
Softball will play their first game of the season tomorrow when they travel to Mt. Carmel.
Baseball will play their first game of the season on Thursday when they host Carterville. Fans can watch and listen to Thursday’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
The CWC Girls Track team will travel to Marion on Thursday for their second indoor meet of the season.
The CWC Boys Tennis team will begin their season on Saturday when they travel to Herrin.
