The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team dropped their first conference game of the season last night, falling on the road to Edwards County by a final score of 45-38.
Caroline Simmons led Carmi in scoring with 14 points.
Addi Elliott scored 11.
Jaya Smith and Natalie Goemaat each scored 4.
Torrie Rider scored 3.
Eva Attebury scored 2.
The Lady Bulldogs fall to 11-3 on the year and 4-1 in the Black Diamond Conference. Carmi will host Harrisburg tomorrow at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium. JV will tip-off at Noon with Varsity beginning around 1:30 PM.

The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team will travel to Eldorado tonight for a Black Diamond Conference matchup. The Bulldogs enter tonight’s game with a 1-10 record.

Southeastern Illinois College will be hosting Carmi-White County Night on Monday as the SIC Men’s Basketball team takes on Missouri Baptist. CWCHS students will receive free admission, and Carmi fans are encouraged to wear maroon and white and cheer on former CWC Bulldog Mitchel Edwards and the Falcons.
