The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team fell to Fairfield on Friday Night by a final score of 51-39.
The Bulldogs trailed by just four points at halftime, but they were never able to get it closer than two as the Mules pulled away in the 4th quarter.
Lex Day led Carmi in scoring with 10 points.
Merick Millhorn scored 8.
Hayden Sauls scored 7.
Dylan Winerberger and Jaxon Bradshaw each scored 6.
Kyzen Edwards scored 2.
The Bulldogs finish the regular season with a 2-23 record and 1-9 record in BDC play.
Carmi will begin postseason play tonight as they travel to Massac County to take on the Patriots in the IHSA 2A Regional Quarterfinals.
Massac is 12-15 on the season, as they have lost 7 of their last 10 games.
The winner of tonight’s game will take on Anna-Jonesboro in the regional semifinals on Wednesday.
