The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team went 0-2 this weekend, losing to Hamilton County on the road on Friday by a final score of 51-22 and then falling at home to Wayne City on Saturday by a final of 71-39.
The Bulldogs fall to 2-21 on the season as they are now 1-8 in Black Diamond Conference play. Carmi will travel to Lawrenceville tomorrow night before wrapping up the regular season with a trip to Fairfield on Friday.
The Bulldogs will begin postseason play one week from tonight as they will travel to Massac County for the IHSA 2A Regional Quarterfinals. Carmi was given the 12th seed in the South Sub-Sectional of the Nashville Sectional, Massac County is the 6 seed. The winner of next Monday’s game will face Anna-Jonesboro in the Regional Semifinals.
The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team defeated Eldorado on Saturday in the IHSA 2A Regional Quarterfinals by a final score of 60-22. The Lady Bulldogs will advance to face Harrisburg tonight in the semifinals at Duff-Kingston Gymnasium in Eldorado.

If the Lady Bulldogs win tonight, they will play either Hamilton County or Olney in the Regional Championship on Thursday.
Carmi-White County freshman wrestler Dylan Combs traveled to Vandalia over the weekend for the IHSA 1A Sectionals. Combs was not able to advance, losing both of his matches.
