The Carmi-White County Volleyball team defeated Mt. Carmel on the road last night in three sets; 21-25, 25-22, 25-22.
The Lady Bulldogs start the season 1-0. They’ll be on the road again tonight as they travel to Grayville. Carmi will take part in the Fairfield Lady Mule Kickoff tournament on Saturday, and they will finally play their first home match next Wednesday against North Posey.
The Carmi-White County Boys & Girls Golf teams traveled to Franklin County Country Club yesterday for the Black Diamond Conference Preview.
The Lady Bulldogs finished in 4th Place with a team score of 431.

Both the Boys and the Girls Golf teams will host Hamilton County at the Carmi Country Club tomorrow.
The Carmi-White County Jr. High baseball and softball teams traveled to Fairfield yesterday, and both teams came away victorious.
The Lady Bullpups won by a final score of 16-1, and the Bullpups won by a final score of 16-0.
The Bullpups will travel to Crab Orchard this afternoon, and then travel to Gallatin County tomorrow.
Both teams will host Mt. Carmel on Thursday.
The Carmi-White County JV Football team fell to Johnston City last night, 40-30.
Reece Jamison and Caleb King each scored two touchdowns.
