WROY/WRUL Local Sports Recap – 08/12/2026
The Carmi-White County junior high softball team began their season yesterday in Marion against Carterville, and the Lady Bullpups fell by a final score of 10-0.
Graecelyn O’Neill picked up the lone base hit for the Lady Pups.
Carmi will be back in action this afternoon as they hose Hamilton County, the CWC junior high baseball team will also host Hamilton County today.
The Carmi-White County Boys Golf team will begin their season tomorrow as they travel to Mt. Carmel for the Mt. Carmel Invite. The Girls Golf team will travel to Mt. Carmel on Friday.
This Friday will be the annual Carmi-White County High School Fall Sports Preview. All fall sport athletes will be recognized, and the night will be capped off with a scrimmage from the CWC Football team.
The event will be streamed on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel beginning at 6:30 PM.
