The Carmi-White County Softball team defeated Grayville back on Friday by a final score of 6-1.
Maggie Pearce picked up her second win of the year, allowing just one run on four hits with 12 strikeouts.
Addi Elliott, Addie Courson, Eva Attebury, Sydney Stallings, Sophie Walker, Bri Hale, Aerielle McWhirter, and Emily Hollingsworth all pick up base hits in the win.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 6-15 on the year, they were scheduled to travel to Mt. Vernon (IN) this afternoon, but all CWCHS sporting events for this afternoon have been canceled due to the forecasted severe weather.
Both the CWC Baseball & Softball teams will travel to Fairfield tomorrow for conference games.
