The Carmi-White County Baseball & Softball teams both hosted Eldorado at home yesterday, and both teams came away victorious.
The Bulldogs won by a final score of 6-4. The game was 4-4 in the 4th inning when RBIs by Merick Millhorn and Maxon O’Daniel gave the Bulldogs the lead. Hayden Sauls earned his second win of the season on the mound as Carmi improved to 4-12 on the year.
The Bulldogs will be back in action today as they travel to Harrisburg.
The Lady Bulldogs snapped a 10-game losing streak with a 15-0 win.
Addi Elliott, Addi Courson, Eva Attebury, Caroline Simmons, Emily Hollingsworth, Sydney Stallings, Torrie Rider, and Bri Hale all picked up base hits in the win.
The Lady Bulldogs will look for the season sweep over Eldorado tomorrow on the road.
The Carmi-White County Boys Tennis team fell to Salem at home yesterday by a final score of 8-1. Madden Anderson was the lone varsity winner for the Bulldogs. Carmi however did win the JV match by a score of 4-2. Jax Jordan went 4-1 on the day.
The Bulldogs fall to 4-2 on the season, they will host Marion tomorrow at Bradshaw Park.
The CWC Girls Track team will host the CWC Invite today at Harrington-Jeffries Stadium.
