The Board approved a report on compliance with Drug Free Schools and Campus

IECC’s 2016 biennial review identified recommendations which will maintain the effectiveness of the program by regular review and update to IECC’s website to ensure the accuracy and availability of information pertinent to alcohol, drugs, treatment and resources.  The Board approved the 2016 Biennial Review Report.

The board adopted the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor for the counties of Crawford, Richland, Wabash and Wayne.

Two affiliation agreements were approved with Hamilton Memorial Hospital and Wabash General Hospital dealing with the Phlebotomy Program at Frontier Community College.

Two program level articulation agreements between Illinois Eastern Community Colleges and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale were approved for the Health Care Management Program and the Radiologic Sciences Program.

The Board adopted updated Emergency Response Plans for each of the four IECC colleges.  These plans are annually reviewed and updated in compliance with the Campus Security Enhancement Act of 2008.  The plans outline procedures for managing major emergencies that may threaten the health, safety, and welfare of the colleges or disrupt programs and activities.
