A homeless Carmi woman is behind bars after Carmi Police were called to a home on Main Cross overnight. Authorities placed 67-year-old Karen Adams in custody on a charge of Criminal Trespass to an Occupied Residence along with a Disorderly Conduct charge. Adams is being held at the White County Jail until being seen by a judge Thursday.
