50-year-old Jason Bryant of Grayville is headed to prison after his sentencing earlier this week. Bryant learned his sentence Monday. He’ll spend up to 6 years within the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a term of 1 year of mandatory supervised release. Bryant’s charge was Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, a class 1 felony, in Edwards County. The offense happened back in June of this year. Bryant will also be forced to pay a fine of $5,000. Edwards County States Attorney Eric St. Ledger prosecuted the case. Bryant was represented by public defender TJ Parrish.
