Garner, Healy, and Zieren Statewide Youth Leaders for 4-H

Three White County 4Her’s are a part of the new class of statewide youth leaders.
Thirty-nine outstanding 4-H members from across Illinois have been selected to serve on Illinois 4-H’s ambassador teams in recognition of their dedication, leadership, and excellence within the program.
Selection to a state team is a significant achievement in the Illinois 4-H program. Members go through a competitive application and interview process. This process highlights their knowledge, communication skills, leadership experiences, and commitment to growth.
The new members of the Illinois 4-H Youth Influencer Team are two individuals, including Katelyn Garner of White County.
The Youth Influencer Team empowers high school-age youth to build skills in content creation, storytelling, and leadership while representing 4-H on social media. Members will inspire and engage in the community by sharing authentic experiences, fostering connections, and celebrating achievements.
The Livestock Ambassador Team consists of two White County natives, Annsley Healy and Johanna Zieren.
This team helps inform others about the importance of livestock production and the opportunities available through 4-H. The team focuses on developing leadership skills while serving as role models who advocate for the livestock industry. They will plan, implement, teach, and evaluate events for younger 4-H members.
Congratulations girls!
