Gardeners Brave the Rain
Dozens of intrepid gardeners braved the weather Saturday to take advantage of the great bargains at the White County Historical Society plant sale. Shoppers were able to chose from a great variety of plants, including peonies, lilies, iris, herbs, hostas and azaleas. All the plants had been generously donated by area gardeners. This was the 7th successful Plant Sale conducted by the Society as a fundraiser to maintain the grounds and landscaping at the Robinson-Stewart House. A “leftover” sale will be held in the near future for those who missed this event. The date will be announced later.
