A Carmi man will remain behind bars until his court date Monday after local police picked him up on a Failure to Appear warrant Thursday. It was just after 5pm Thursday when Carmi Police arrested 43-year-old Randall Flowers of Olive Street. The warrant is related to a late August arrest on a charge of Obstruction of Justice/Destroying Evidence. Flowers appeared in custody on August 27th and waived his attorney according to online court records. He was due for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, October 1st. The warrant was issued later in the day and Flowers was picked up at a 5th Street residence Thursday. He’ll be escorted to court to appear before Judge T Scott Webb Monday at 10am.
