
Police arrested a Fairfield woman at the intersection of Main and Church in Carmi on Friday.
45-year-old Sherlyn Lee is facing four charges: possession of Methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of property, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lee was cited for operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration.
Lee was transported to the White County Jail and has been waiting to appear before a judge since.


Carmi Police arrested two individuals Saturday.
Emily Madden and Jason Ballard were placed under arrest and sent to the White County Jail.

Ballard was arrested for domestic battery, while Madden is facing charges of domestic battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, criminal trespass, reckless conduct, and resisting/obstructing.

45-year-old Albion woman, Rebecca Cartmill was arrested Sunday on a White County warrant for failure to appear for a charge of possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle. Officers detained her at the White County Jail.

Then, on Monday morning, Blake Duvall turned himself in on his White County warrant for failure to appear on charges stemming from February 2026 for driving under the influence, DUI BAC .08 or more, and driving on a suspended license.
