A Fairfield woman is free following her arrest Monday late afternoon in Carmi. Carmi Police pulled over 38-year-old Shania Buchanan just before 6pm at Trinity Assembly of God Church. She would subsequently be arrested and booked on a charge of Driving While License Suspended. Buchanan was released about an hour later and given a notice to appear. She’s expected in White County court on October 14th in reference to the charge.
