On Thursday, March 19th, Equality Police Chief Craig Williams, the Illinois State Police, and the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence within the Equality Village limits.
Officers arrested Gina Garris as a result of the search.
Authorities charged Garris with Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Materials, Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors, Possession of Ammunition by a Felon, and Unlawful Use of Property.
The Equality Police Department would like to thank the Drug Task Force and the Gallatin County States Attorney for working together to improve the community.
Garris was denied Pre-Trial release and has a Preliminary Hearing in Gallatin County Court on March 30 at 9 am.
