The Enfield Village Board met in a special session Monday night for about 20 minutes to clear up some unfinished business. Scott Mareing was there and has this report…
The main purpose of the meeting was the approval of Michael Jodon to the Utilities Department. This was much discussed at last week’s regularly scheduled meeting. He will give his current employer two week’s notice, but can start the job immediately if need be.
Mayor Maurie Black noted that there is a sewer line on the southeast corner of the 20 acres behind the school that were just sold, that will need an easement.
And the Christmas lights have come in and work on them will start shortly. The sidewalks have been marked for the route. The first light will be installed in front of the Post Office and the others will be put in down the line.
The meeting adjourned at 7:19 PM.
