Enfield Mule Days This Weekend

The Village of Enfield will be celebrating the 97th year of Mule Days this weekend, beginning Thursday evening.

Thursday and Friday will be filled with pageants as the Baby Contest, Mr and Miss Tot and Prince and Princess contest will be held Thursday. The evening will begin with gospel music from the Bradshaws at 6. The pageants will get underway around 7 Thursday night. Following the contest there will be bingo at 8.

Friday night will include the Little Miss, Miss Mule Day and Jr. Miss. The Junior Miss will be selected during intermission of the Miss Mule Day pageant. Bingo will follow the Friday night pageants.

Saturday is a full day, beginning with the Mule Day 5 K at 7:30 that morning.

The pet parade will be held at 10, with the lineup and judging beginning at 9:30 at Booth School.

There will be cake walks at 10:30 and the giant Mule Day Parade will begin lining up at noon. The parade will begin at 1:30 Saturday afternoon, with a theme of Trojan Proud. The parade marshalls this year are the NCOE Pep Club-Red Army members.

Prior to the parade start will be the annual mule judging near the WADI Building.

The afternoon will also include a corn hole tournament and bingo.
Giovanni Jones will entertain on the Mule Days stage from 4 until 8. There will also be bingo at 6 and 8 Saturday evening.
