Carmi Rotary plays trivia to get ready for Saturday night

At Thursday’s Rotary meeting, members divided up for a Trivia contest in preparation for Saturday Night. The three teams were very competitive and had a lot of fun. This Saturday, Rotary will host their semi annual trivia contest at the American Legion. The first question will be asked shortly after 6PM. Come join in the fun. A four person team is a $40 donation. Rotarians will provide snacks and drinks. The first place team will win $100, the second place team receives $60 and the third place team will win $40. All those participating are winners so come have some fun. Rotarians would also like to thank the many ad sponsors who help the club out.

In club business, JR Hubele was the lucky winner in the 50/50 drawing and then selected the pink ball to take home the large pot. Kent Armstrong named Kelly Pyle the phantom. Andy Williams and Little Giant prepared a delicious meal of fish, hush puppies and all the sides for the Rotarians Pictures are provided by Kenny Harrelson. The club meets at noon on Thursday at the First United Methodist Church. Anyone wishing to get involved is encouraged to come help Rotary with the many local projects and charities that are supported.
