A former Carmi woman is behind bars in the White County Jail following her arrest Monday afternoon. Carmi Police say they responded to an April Avenue address just after the noon hour for an active domestic disturbance. Following an investigation, police arrested 40-year-old Katie Warren of Evansville and she’s facing a misdemeanor charge of Domestic Battery. She’s lodged in the White County Jail until she can be seen by a judge.
