Just after 7:30pm Friday, Carmi Police pulled over 54-year-old Rita Trabant where Iris meets Church. The Sycamore Street resident was subsequently arrested for Driving While License Revoked. She was initially pulled over for operating a vehicle without registration. Trabant was booked and has been released. She’s due in court on September 9th.
In the early morning hours just after midnight Saturday, Carmi Police pulled over 48-year-old John Holloman for operating a vehicle with only one headlight. He would end up behind bars for Driving While License Revoked. Holloman ended up receiving citations for Driving while License Suspended and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle as well. He’ll be due in White County Court on September 9th.
Saturday afternoon, Carmi Police pulled over 40-year-old Arnie Hallum of Casa Grande, Arizona near the Fairgrounds entrance. It was just after 4pm when officers say caught Hallum driving an RV without registration. He would be arrested for Driving on a Suspended License and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Additionally, Hallum was cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol and driving on an expired registration. After booking, Hallum would be released with a Notice to Appear shortly after 7pm.
