On February 5th, Carmi Police received a call from a victim, who stated a suspicious person was trespassing on her property and attempted to enter her home while yelling.
The suspect, Daniel Carlisle, fled the scene on foot. Once police caught him, he was charged with a White County Arrest Warrant, Obstructing/Resisting a Peace Officer, Criminal Trespass, and Disorderly Conduct.
Carmi Police arrested 64-year-old Carmi resident Leslie McWhirter during a traffic stop on a White County Arrest Warrant for a Failure to Appear.
