A Carmi man is free following his arrest Wednesday afternoon. It was just after 5pm when Carmi Police pulled over 22-year-old Sean Ackerman on Highway 1 southbound. According to the report, Ackerman was arrested on a charge of Driving with No Valid Driver’s License. After being booked, he was released with a notice to appear. The blue Honda Ackerman was driving was towed from the scene.
Just before 10:30pm, Carmi Police pulled over 45-year-old John Perry from Frankfort, Kentucky near Rock
Bottom. Perry would be cuffed on a charge of Driving while License Suspended. Additionally, Perry was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. He would be released following booking with a court date of August 25th.
