An Enfield man is out on Pre-Trial Release following his arrest late Tuesday night in Carmi. Cops caught up with 30-year-old Jason Sigmund on 12th Street near Lagoon Drive just before 10:30pm. He was subsequently placed under arrest due to a Failure to Appear warrant out of Hamilton County. That warrant was in relation to a 2023 charge and January of 2024 conviction of Driving on a Suspended License. At that time, Sigmund was sentenced to 10 days in jail, given 2 years of conditional discharge, and fined. As part of that conditional discharge, he was ordered to pay or appear and failed to do so multiple times leading to the warrant. Online court records show him due back in Hamilton County court on May 28th.
