A pair of Crossville men are facing charges following their arrests Monday afternoon. It was just before 4pm near Airport Road when Carmi Police pulled over the two gentlemen. The driver, 37-year-old Joseph Jordan was arrested for Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by Driver, cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, and having a Suspended Registration. The passenger, 41-year-old Joshua Hosick was arrested on two active warrants including a Hamilton County warrant for Burglary that dates back to November of 2024. According to online court records, Hosick failed to appear in September of 2025 and hasn’t been paying on his fine as per the deal in that case. The White County warrant appears to be related to a July of 2025 case that resulted in a plea deal which saw Hosick take a guilty plea for Criminal Damage to Property and 2 years of conditional discharge with charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Resisting a Peace Officer dismissed as per the agreement. Jordan was released with a Notice to Appear. Hosick remains behind bars as of Tuesday morning.
About a quarter after 10pm Monday, officers arrested 57-year-old Steven Ward. He’ll be due in court on March 31st on a charge of Driving while License Suspended. Ward was taken into custody on Main Cross at Smith and later released with a Notice to Appear.
