26 year old Zachary Bassemier of Carmi was arrested by Carmi Police on Tuesday afternoon after a complaint about criminal trespass. Bassemier was taken into custody at 1:10pm at the intersection of P
leasant and Main Cross Streets. Once in custody, Bassemier was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as wanted on a Hamilton County warrant. Bassesmier was taken to the White County Jail and is being held without bail pending a court hearing.
