The Carmi-White County Baseball and Softball teams traveled to Hamilton County yesterday afternoon.
The Bulldogs came away with their second conference win of the year, beating the Foxes by a final score of 9-7.
Merick Millhorn picked up the win on the mound, he pitched 5 innings allowing 4 runs on 4 hits with 12 strikeouts.
At the plate, Millhorn went 2-for-3 with 4 RBI.
Hayden Sauls went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Evan Cronin, Jackson Bradshaw, and Jayse Digman also recorded hits in the win.
The Bulldogs improve to 5-16 on the season. They will host DuQuoin tomorrow at Eckerle Park.
The Lady Bulldogs fell by a final score of 7-6.
Addi Elliott, Addie Courson, Eva Attebury, Caroline Simmons, Torrie Rider, and Bri Hale all recorded hits in the loss.
The Lady Bulldogs fall to 8-18 on the season, they will take part in the Benton Tournament tomorrow. Carmi will face off against Waltonville at 9 AM to begin play.
