The Lady Bulldogs fall to 25-8 on the year and 7-2 in the Black Diamond Conference, as Fairfield clinches the BDC East Championship with the win.

The Carmi-White County Cross Country team traveled to Hamilton County yesterday for the Black Diamond Conference Meet. Andrew Benham was crowned BDC Champion after he finished in 1st Place. Gwen Headlee finished in 4th Place.
The CWCHS Cross Country team will run at West Frankfort next Saturday for the IHSA 1A Regional.
The Carmi-White County Football team will host Eldorado tonight for Week 9 of the IHSA Football season. The Bulldogs come into tonight’s game with a 4-4 record as they are coming off of three straight wins. Carmi has already clinched a spot in the IHSA Playoffs, and a win tonight would all but guarantee the Bulldogs a first round home game.
CWCHS will honor their senior fall sport athletes tonight as it is Senior Night.
Fans can watch and listen to tonight’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. The Senior Night ceremony will begin at 6:30 PM.
