The Carmi-White County Boys Golf team traveled to Franklin County Golf Course yesterday for the Black Diamond Conference tournament, and the Bulldogs finished in 8th place with a team score of 346.
Banks Moore placed 10th overall, shooting an 82.
Cayden Holloman shot an 83.
Alex Hale shot a 90.
Rowdy Hall shot a 91.
Kyson Clark shot a 95.
Jude Pollard shot a 108.
The Bulldogs will begin regional play next Wednesday at West Frankfort.
The Carmi-White County Jr. High Baseball and Softball teams hosted the SIJHSAA Regional semifinals last night.
The Lady Bullpups defeated Olney by a final score of 10-0.
Alyss Courson pitched all five innings, allowing just one base hit with eight strikeouts.
Courson, Auna Goff, Sophia Jamison, Graecelyn O’Neal, Emma Ricketts, and Aniyah Huff all picked up RBIs in the win.
The Lady Bullpups will face Mt. Carmel in the Regional Championship tomorrow at 10:00 AM.
The Bullpups fell to Olney by a final score of 2-1. Carmi finishes the season with an 11-4 record.
The Carmi-White County Football team will travel to Sesser-Valier tonight to face the Red Devils.
The Bulldogs are coming off a last-second 20-14 loss to Fairfield last week, meanwhile Sesser picked up their first win of the year last week at Christopher, 38-14. Both teams come in with 1-4 records.
