The Carmi-White County Bulldog Football team will host the Flora Wolves tonight at Harrington-Jeffries Stadium for their first home game of the season.
The Bulldogs come in with an 0-1 record following a 24-14 loss at Johnston City last week. Flora comes in with a 1-0 record after defeating Sesser-Valier, 49-8.
Fans can watch and listen to tonight’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM. The Taylor Eye Care pregame show will begin at 6:30 PM.
The Carmi-White County Jr. High Baseball and Softball teams hosted Mt. Carmel yesterday afternoon.
The Bullpups picked up a 4-0 win over the Aces. Jerrick Rager pitched all 7 innings, giving up just 4 base hits with 8 strikeouts. Carmi has won 5 straight games, and in those 5 games they have outscored their opponents 67-3. The Bullpups will return to action on Wednesday when they host Albion.
The Lady Bullpups came away with a 12-2 victory. Cabella Emery picked up the win in the circle, pitching all 5 innings and giving up 2 runs on 7 hits with 2 strikeouts. The Lady Bullpups will take part in the Johnston City tournament tomorrow, with their first game being against Marion at 10:30 AM.
