A former White County jailer will face a sentencing hearing on October 22nd for his high-profile case.
It was just back in July when we broke the news that the Fifth District Appellate Court overturned a Pre-Trial release for Darren Hays.

Today during White County court, Hays pled guilty to three counts of Class 3 Felony custodial sexual misconduct. The three other similar charges and official misconduct were dismissed per the plea deal.
Hays will face his sentencing hearing on October 22nd.
58-year-old Darren Hays was arrested back in March after an extensive investigation was conducted that revealed Hays was in an alleged sexual relationship with a female inmate while on duty at the White County Jail.
