The Carmi-White County Boys & Girls Golf teams hosted Hamilton County yesterday at the Carmi Country Club.
The Lady Bulldogs won by a final score of 209-214.
Katelyn Davis placed 2nd with a 47.
Bri Hale placed 4th with a 52.
Eva Grogan placed 5th with a 54.
Gabby Mullins placed 7th with a 56.
Sophia McCully placed 8th with a 57.
Emma Legg placed 10th with a 66.
The Bulldogs fell by a final score of 176-178.
Cayden Holloman and Banks Moore both tied for 1st Place with a 42.
Alex Hale placed 7th with a 46.
Kyson Clark shot a 48.
Jude Pollard shot a 49.
Carter Campbell shot a 56.
Both CWCHS Golf teams will have the rest of the week off. The Lady Bulldogs will host the CWC Invite on Monday, and both teams will host NCOE, Waltonville, and Hardin County on Tuesday.
The Carmi-White County Girls Tennis team hosted Olney yesterday for their first match of the season, and the Lady Bulldogs fell 9-0. They’ll be back in action at home today against Salem.
The Carmi-White County Jr. High Baseball team defeated Gallatin County on the road yesterday by a final score of 16-1.
Bennett Tomassetti, Jack Taylor, Beckam Moore, Jett Bradshaw, and Abe Aud all recorded base hits in the win.
The Bullpups have now won four games in a row, and in those four games they have outscored their opponents 63-3. Carmi will have one more game this week, they will host Mt. Carmel today at Bradshaw Park.
The CWC Jr. High Softball team will also host Mt. Carmel today, they will then take part in the Johnston City Tournament on Saturday.
The Carmi-White County Bulldog Football team will host the Flora Wolves tomorrow night for their first home game of the season. The Bulldogs come in with an 0-1 record following a 24-14 loss at Johnston City last week. Flora comes in with a 1-0 record after defeating Sesser-Valier, 49-8.
