Carmi Police made a pair of arrests Monday afternoon. The first, just before 4pm when an officer says he observed 30-year-old Dylan Miller of Grayville walking near the intersection of 12th at Oak Street. Officers say they were able to confirm Miller was wanted out of Edwards County and subsequently took him into custody. That warrant is related to a Battery charge that dates back to 2025.
Just an hour later, Carmi Pollice pulled over 26-year-old Isabel Murdach of Carmi on Main at Locust. She was placed under arrest on a charge of Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by Driver. Murdach was taken to the jail, processed, and released with a notice to appear. Her vehicle was towed by Cherry Street Automotive and she’ll be due in White County court on September 29th.
