Carmi Police made an arrest a day Friday through Sunday. The first, Friday morning on Airport Road in Carmi after officers say they saw 30-year-old Dustin Myers of Illinois Street driving a red Ford Fusion and knew he was wanted out of White County. After pulling Myers over, he was arrested and now faces additional charges of Possession of Meth, Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by Driver. The warrant is related to a 2024 case which resulted in a conviction in January of this year on a charge of Aggravated ID Theft. He was convicted then to 6 months of jail to be followed by 2 years of probation, a fine, and restitution. Myers remains behind bars at the White Conty Jail as of Monday morning.
Saturday evening, Carmi Police handled an arrest of a Mill Shoals man wanted on a felony warrant for Theft over $500. It was about 9:30pm when officers say 34-year-old Cody McKinney turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Department. McKinney was processed and subsequently released on pretrial conditions. Online court records don’t currently show when McKinney will next be due in court on the charge.
Early Sunday morning, just after 2:30am, Carmi Police arrested 43-year-old Randall Flowers at the
corner of Elm and Tenth. They say Flowers was wanted on a Jefferson County warrant related to a Failure to Appear on a Driving while License Revoked charge. Flowers remains behind bars in White County Monday morning while awaiting extradition to Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
