Four Arrested Over the Weekend on Various Charges

White County Sheriff’s officer responded to a residence in Enfield Friday night due to a caller stating that there was an individual on their property who was intoxicated and refusing to leave.
William Walker was arrested for violating an order of protection and taken to the White County Jail until he can appear before a judge.

On Friday morning, Carmi Police conducted a traffic stop on a red Ford Ranger for failing to use a turn signal. According to the arrest report, officers smelled the odor of raw cannabis.
45-year-old Henderson, Kentucky resident Kevin Mooneyham was the driver and handed officers a taser baton and cannabis.
Mooneyham was placed under arrest, and police began a probable cause search. The search resulted in officers locating more cannabis and metal knuckles.
Mooneyham was taken to the White County Jail and is facing two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle.

Olney native Demerius Montgomery was arrested Saturday morning on a White County failure to appear warrant for a charge of possession of Methamphetamine.
Montgomery went before a judge in White County court Monday morning, where he was given a preliminary hearing for August 24 at 10 am and will remain in custody until then.

The last individual arrested over the weekend was a Mt. Vernon, Indiana, man named Danny Wang.
Carmi Police arrested Wang for a Posey County arrest warrant for intimidation and domestic battery.
Police arrested Wang in Carmi for driving on a suspended license and cited with operating a vehicle with suspended registration.
In White County court Monday morning, Wang will be waiting in White County Jail for extradition to Posey County on his warrant and will have an arraignment hearing on his White County charges on October 26 at 9:30 am.
