Back on Friday the Carmi-White County Girls Golf team traveled to Mt. Carmel for the Mt. Carmel Invite, and the Lady Bulldogs finished in 5th Place.
Katelyn Davis finished 15th overall, shooting a 99.
Bri Hale shot a 112.
Sophia McCully shot a 115.
Eva Grogan shot a 117.
Emma Legg shot a 136.
The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action this afternoon as they will host NCOE and Massac County at the Carmi Country Club.
The CWC Boys Golf team will also play their first home match of the season today as they will host NCOE and Edwards County.
The Carmi-White County junior high softball team took part in the Marion tournament on Saturday, and the Lady Bullpups went 1-2 on the day. Carmi fell to Herrin by a final score of 6-4 before bouncing back with a 14-4 win over OLMC, before finishing the day with a close 5-3 loss to Anna.
Both the CWC junior high softball and baseball teams will travel to Olney this afternoon, and both will host Eldorado at home tomorrow.
The Carmi-White County Jr. Pro football teams traveled to Christopher on Saturday to kickoff their 2026 campaigns.
The 5th & 6th Grade Bulldogs fell 28-14.
The 7th & 8th Grade Bulldogs fell 44-0.
Jr. Pro will play their first home game of the year this Saturday when they host Flora.
It’s officially game week for the Carmi-White County Football team. The Bulldogs will kick off the 2026 high school football season this Friday night when they travel to Johnston City.
