Two Traffic Stops by Carmi Police Monday

Carmi Police conducted a traffic stop on a black Chevy Malibu on Monday.
The vehicle’s registration did not match the Chevy; instead, it was for a silver Toyota.
28-year-old Lukas Gunther was arrested for unlawful display of registration and cited for no insurance and expired registration.
Gunther was later released from the White County Jail and given a notice to appear.
Just a few hours later, Carmi Police completed a second traffic stop for the day on Cherry Street.
Patrick Hoscheid was arrested for driving with a revoked license.
Hoscheid was booked and released with a notice to appear for the misdemeanor charge.
