A little after noon on Thursday, a White County Sheriff’s Detective was informed that Mount Washington, Kentucky, native Samuel Sawyers was at the front of the Sheriff’s Office wanting to pay a vehicle impound fee.
The detective knew Sawyers had two active felony arrest warrants out of White County.
After confirming this, Sawyers was advised of the warrants, which were booked and released.
The warrants cover felony charges of obstructing justice, theft over $500, and criminal trespass.
Sawyers was released with a first appearance for each warrant on August 31 at 9 am.
