A Norris City man is headed to prison. Back in late April, 46-year-old David Jolley had a previous sentence of probation revoked after admitting to a violation of that probation. He was sentenced to two years of probation in a plea deal in the spring of 2025. A sentencing hearing was held Monday in White County court and Jolley received 3 years in the Department of Corrections on a January of 2025 conviction for Aggravated Battery in a Public Place to be served consecutively after 3 years on the Possession of a Stolen Vehicle conviction from 2022. He’ll also have 6 months of mandatory supervision following his release. Jolley was credited with 118 days total of time served.
