Carmi Police have released activity from Monday morning through early Tuesday morning. Arrests included 25-year-old Salvador Garcia of Carmi. Authorities pulled Garcia over at East Side package just before 8:30am Monday and subsequently placed him under arrest for Driving without a Valid License. He was later released with a notice to appear citation and given a court date.
Monday afternoon, Carmi Police pulled over 19-year-old Bradlee Heck of Fairfield at Don’s Bumper to
Bumper for driving with a suspended registration. It was just before 6pm. Heck is also facing a charge of Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by Driver and cited for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. The vehicle was towed and impounded by Cherry Street Automotive. Heck was booked and released with a notice to appear. He’ll be due in White County court for a first appearance on August 11th.
In the midnight hour Tuesday, Carmi Police pulled over 61-year-old Rebecca Maier of Crossville for improper lane usage. That traffic stop was initiated on Main Street near Little Giant. Maier was then arrested for Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle and also cited for Operating and Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Maier was released shortly after 2:30am with a notice to appear.
