A Norris City teen will be due in court to face charges following her arrest Monday evening in Carmi. Police pulled over 19-year-old Rhaney Jack near the Ferrell Hospital Carmi Family Clinic just after 8pm. Officers placed her under arrest on a charge of Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by driver. The traffic stop was initiated due to the vehicles registration being suspended due to a mandatory insurance violation. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Jack was booked and released from the White County Jail around 9:30pm. She’ll be due in White County court on July 28th.
