Vaughn Deer Farm Prepping for Open to 2025 Season this Saturday – WRUL-FM
What started about six years ago with just a single deer has grown into a thriving, family-run destination home to more than 100 animals. From three dozen fallow and whitetail deer to more than two dozen foxes, two opossums, six raccoons, bobcats, reptiles, five new groundhogs, a squirrel, rabbits, and also traditional farm favorites, the USDA certified Vaughn family continues to expand their unique mix of wildlife and livestock across more than 30 acres.
Their passion goes beyond showcasing animals—within the last year, they’ve earned designation as a wildlife sanctuary, allowing them to provide a home for animals that can’t return to the wild while also creating an educational experience for visitors.
Running the farm takes dedication and significant resources, and every visit helps support animal care and continued growth. Admission is just $8, which includes a treat bag for feeding select animals. Children 2 and under get in free.
Vaughn Deer Farm is open every Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sundays from Noon to 5pm throughout the season.
Plan your visit and experience one of the area’s most unique family attractions this spring and summer. Learn more and visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/p/Vaughn-Deer-Farm-100083279681812/.
