The Carmi-White County Softball team defeated West Frankfort yesterday afternoon at Archie Brown Field by a final score of 4-1.
Addi Elliott, Addie Courson, Eva Attebury, Caroline Simmons, Torrie Rider, and Bri Hale all picked up base hits in the win.
The Lady Bulldogs have now won four of their last five games as they improve to 7-16 on the season. Carmi will host Fairfield this afternoon.
The Carmi-White County Baseball team fell to Mt. Carmel on the road yesterday by a final score of 15-0. The Bulldogs fall to 4-15 on the year, they will host Fairfield this afternoon at Eckerle Park for a Black Diamond Conference game.
