White County Sheriff Jordan Weiss has issued a statement regarding a vehicle accident that occurred on Friday afternoon.
The White County Sheriff’s Department and the White County Ambulance service responded to a single-vehicle accident with injuries at the address of 1201 County Road 1450 East.
When authorities arrived, they found the vehicle, driven by Joseph Skaggs of Norris City, had left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a culvert.
A passenger, Carol Skaggs, was also in the vehicle. Both she and the driver were taken to the hospital for injuries.
