The Carmi-White County Softball team fell to Johnston City at home yesterday afternoon by a final score of 5-4.
The Lady Bulldogs fell behind 5-0 after the first two innings of play, but they continued to fight. Carmi was able to score 3 in the 5th inning and 1 in the 6th to cut the lead to 5-4, but they weren’t able to plate the tying run.
Carmi falls to 3-15 on the season as they have now lost 10 straight games. The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action today at home as they host Eldorado.
The Carmi-White County Baseball team will also host Eldorado this afternoon. Fans can watch and listen to today’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. First pitch is set for 4:30 PM.
The Carmi-White County Boys Track team traveled to Hamilton County yesterday for the Roger Lee Invite, and the Bulldogs finished in 4th Place out of 13 teams.

The Carmi-White County Boys Tennis team hosted Union County (KY) yesterday at Bradshaw Park, and the Bulldogs came away with a 9-0 victory.
Reece Whitley, Rylee Dodgson, Kyson Clark, Jax Jordan, Carter Campbell, and Jayden Buttry all won their singles matches.
The doubles teams of Javan Lucas & Madden Anderson, Dodgson & Clark, and Jordan & Campbell all won their doubles matches.
The Bulldogs will be back in action at home today as they host Salem.
