The Carmi-White County Bullpups opened their 2026 golf season on Monday, fall to Norris City by a final score of 126-141.
Despite the loss, the Bullpups showed promise with a young lineup, led by Jett Bradshaw’s team-best round of 44. Jude Pollard followed with a 47, while Rowdy Hall carded a 50 to round out Carmi’s top three scorers.
Norris City was paced by medalist Briar Ridge, who fired a 41. Kallen Sutton (42) and Lanson Sutton (43) provided strong support to secure the victory for the Cardinals.
On the girls side, the Lady Bullpups competed in an exhibition and turned in several solid performances. Claire Legg led the way with a 60, earning medalist honors. Ramsay Coston and Kenley Davis each shot a 63, while Gabby Mullins and Hadley Williams posted rounds of 64. Nola Attebury finished with a 70.
Both the boys and girls teams will be back in action Thursday as they travel to Mount Carmel for the Mount Carmel Invitational.
