The Carmi-White County Softball team traveled to Mt. Carmel yesterday for their first game of the season, and the Lady Bulldogs fell by a final score of 12-0.
Caroline Simmons, Addi Elliott, Torrie Rider, and Sydney Stallings all picked up base hits in the loss.
Carmi starts the season with an 0-1 record. They will travel to Massac County tomorrow.
The Carmi-White County Baseball team will begin their 2026 season today as they host Carterville at Eckerle Park.

The Bulldogs will wrap up the week with a doubleheader on Saturday up in Robinson against Robinson and Westville.
The Carmi-White County Girls Track team will head to Marion today for their second indoor meet of the season.
